Julianna AKA "Julz"
Growing up, Julianna was constantly singing, whether it was to her TV and the sound of The Little Mermaid or to strangers at the grocery store. Julianna graduated from a performing arts high school where her love for the arts grew into a career.
After graduating top of her class in 2003, she attended the University of Nevada, Reno for 2 years, as part of the Musical Theater degree program. In 2005 when it was announced that the program had to be cancelled, she finally summoned up enough courage to audition for her dream school, The American Musical and Dramatic Academy Los Angeles. She received a $20,000 scholarship and graduated with a degree in Musical Theater Performance in 2007.
She competed for the Miss Nevada 2008 title in the Miss America Organization and on her third attempt, won the title. After competing at Miss America 2009, she spent her year of service dedicated to bringing the arts to at-risk youth by working with numerous organizations, touring schools and as a state spokesperson for The Children's Miracle Network and the Boys and Girls Club.
Upon her completion of her time in the Miss America Organization, she competed for the first time at Miss Nevada USA. She proved successful once more in fulfilling an incredible dream, winning the Miss Nevada USA 2010 title. She’s only the 3rd in the states' pageant history to represent Nevada in both of the most prestigious national pageants.
She is an experienced emcee/host and has been on the microphone for some of the most well known companies and brands nationwide. Living in Las Vegas from 2009-2014, she was an event planner and emcee/singer at various venues. After her time in Las Vegas she moved to Los Angeles where she worked regularly on set as talent and also as part of production teams.
Julz most recently held the Ms. Woman Oregon United States title and placed Top 10 at Ms. Woman United States 2018. She is based in Portland, OR and travels as a Product Specialist for the automotive industry.
